The strength of tea depends how long you keep your teabag in the water or how many bags you put. Tea doesn't really infuse in non-hot water. Once you take the teabag out of the water, the strength of the tea is the same hot or cold.

don't use lipton, because it's a weak tea. one teaspoon of tea inside a teabag isn't gonna do it if you want a strong tea.

I think it depends on personal taste. Adding cream & sugar is good but we prefer black with splenda . You should make it the way you and your hubby enjoy it.
