I was thinking of getting pregnat in a couple of years. I love tea but I don't drink coffee. Would heard drinking black decaf tea was okay. Would drinking a small cup of naturally decafinated black or orange pecoe tea (the regular teas) cause...
I have never heard of any tea causing miscarriages. I drank tea while pregnant with all three of my children, as did my mom, my aunts, my grandmothers etc. I would not worry about it. Tea is good for you, can't imagine it would hurt the baby.
I'm 11weeks pregnant and on my paper from the doctor it says to AVOID "Poke Root", but I bought a box of "Great Value Tea 100% Natural 175mg Antioxidants per serving" it's ingredients are "orange pekoe and pekoe cut black...
I have read that poke root should not be taken by pregnant women but i don't know if this ingredient in the tea is the same. I don't think so, but better be safe than sorry. Good luck
