Japan Green Tea

I've been drinking green tea bought at UK supermarkets for a while, but I recently went to Japan and found the taste completely different. The UK stuff tastes almost dusty, but in japan it was, er... fruitier?! I know there are different types of...

"Dusty" is a good word for supermarket green tea. That stuff's all low-quality, mass-produced junk.

Meanwhile, Japanese green tea has a much higher bar. Everybody there drinks green tea every day, so the standards are raised.

Not typically. Fruit infusions and flavored teas are actually more typically found in the exotic specialty store that sells European and American food products. It's difficult to find them in traditional tea shops in Japan or Taiwan.

There are many good green teas in Japan.
Getting some companies that ship outside of Japan maybe the problem.
