Green Tea Soap

and does dry skin make you itchy??

I've been using Dove Green tea/melon soap and i've noticed i've been really itchy lately could that be the reason why? because of the soap?

Not only is it that time of year for dry itchy skin but don't believe the hype about dove......it's still SOAP! Soap dries out your skin and so would green tea as it is an antioxitant. Try an aveeno product good for this time of year.

Here is another batch that my husband and I made. The smell is simply outrageous and we are once again happy with it.

i was wondering if it is just the scent because on the ingredients list i did not see green tea and cucmber listed it just says the scent of cucmber and green tea on the fromt of the box also is the bar colored geen with dye or is it a natural...

I hope so...otherwise I've been deceived lol.

Edit: It's supposed to contain pure cucumber extract and a touch of calming green tea. And the green is probably a dye, if you check the product details on this link it says Green...

The apple cider vinegar solution is a good idea because not only is this used as an astringent but it corrects the pH balance of your skin which is important for healthy skin. If your skin is really oily, you may want to go with a soap with tea tree

i find mine at any grocery store. I've bought green tea at Trader Joe's, Whole foods market, Meijers, Target, Walmart, and even stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and World Market.
