Recently, I found this powdered, edible Sencha at a local market. The family-owned business, SEI MEE , is located here in Oregon and they offer their products online, as well. This edible green tea has a mellow and smooth green tea taste. It's what I use for my favorite afternoon pick-me-up: A Healthier Green Tea Smoothie.
With the addition of spinach and green tea, and sweetened lightly with dates and agave, it is much healthier than the Starbucks version. It tastes wonderful, too!!
