Yes it will stain the shower floor. Try to use a sink that you can bleach to remove the stain.

Lets say I have a warm bath and put a green tea bag or two inside. What good would it do? Could it irritate or harm in any way?

Tea bags would make your skin lighter there mostly used for dark circles around the eyes to make the eye bags lighter and give them a fresh look.

No. it will feel good for a short while. However at the rate humans replace outer skin cells the effect is temporary. A few hours only.
It will not hurt you, and may feel nice but probably not worth the cost.
